Best Experiences for Princesses at Walt Disney World Resort

Princesses

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Visit your very own Fairy Godmother to be transformed into a princess! There are TWO boutiques on Walt Disney World property. One is located inside Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom. While this experience is obviously very special, it is also extremely popular. Reservations are necessary. The second boutique in Disney Springs tends to have more availability, and theme park admission is not required! Another boutique is located aboard the Disney Fantasy for Princesses at sea. Different packages are available. The Coach Package ($54.95) includes hair styling and makeup; the Crown Package ($59.95) adds a manicure; and the Castle Package ($194.95+) is complete with a dress, accessories, and photographs. A great money saving tip? You may opt for the The Coach Package and bring your own Princess dress from home. Princesses must be at least 3 years old for this royal treatment, and transformations take 60 minutes.

Attend a Princess Meal

Character dining is the best way to meet your favorite princess. Attending a meal with characters ensures plenty of time for interaction, pictures, and autographs! Cinderella’s Table in her own castle is an enchanting experience that is difficult to reserve. Better options include Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion. Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, and Ariel are just a few examples of the royals you may meet! At the Grand Floridian Resort, you can dine with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the hilarious Step Sisters, and the wicked Step Mother.

Meet Princesses in the Parks

Royalty can be found on a daily basis in various locations throughout Walt Disney World. Check your park guide or contact me before your trip for more information on where your favorite Princess is hanging out. To avoid long lines, I highly recommend securing a FastPass+ for meet and greets. Consider waving to Anna and Elsa during the Festival of Fantasy Parade in the Magic Kingdom rather than spending hours in line to see them!

Grand Floridian Magical Moment

This is a new experience for 2016! Every day at 3:30, Disney Royalty descends the majestic staircase of the Grand Floridian lobby to invite young guests to participate in magic. One example is Cinderella’s Princess Promenade, in which Cinderella and Prince Charming demonstrate a waltz worthy of the fanciest ball. Be sure to join in!

Royal Guest Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside

If you are looking for a full immersion into royalty during your stay at Walt Disney World, be sure to book a royal guest room! Extra magical touches include fiber-optic fireworks on the headboards. Aladdin’s Magic Carpet is also present, ready to take your family to A Whole New World!
